How to change PPSC Test Center: Complete Guideline
While applying for any post in Government Sector through Punjab Public Service Commission(PPSC), a candidate has to choose a Test and Interview center from mentioned major cities of Punjab.
- Lahore
- Faisalabad
- Rawalpindi
- Multan
- Bahawalpur
- D.G Khan
- Sargodha
These are the only possible cities in Punjab for the selection of test centers. A candidate should always choose his/her test and interview center carefully as it is very difficult to change it at a later stage. However, in case of any emergency or any serious reason test center can be changed by providing solid proof for the reason behind it. In this article, I am going to explain to you a simple and easy procedure to change your test and interview city.
There are two possibilities in this case.
1. Before Closing Date of Advertisement
If a candidate has to change his/her test and interview center before closing date of advertisement, he/she can simply do it by Editing his online application by providing CNIC# and Token number which was received through SMS and Email by clicking following button on PPSC Official website.
It is a very easy process but it is only possible before the closing date of advertisement as PPSC online system does not allow editing of applications after the closing date.
2. After the Closing date of Advertisement
If the advertisement date is closed and the test date is not announced, it is possible to change the test center by writing an application to Secretary PPSC with solid proof.
Write the following application to Worthy Secretary PPSC by hand or type in MS Word, take print, and fill this application according to your data.

PPSC, Lahore.
SUBJECT:- CHANGE OF TEST CENTER CITY
Respected Sir,
It is stated that I have applied for the post of ______________Case No____________ through commission’s Advertisement No._______.
I selected test center city _________ but now I am shifted to__________. due to _______________ (proof attached).
Therefore, You are requested to change my test city from _____________ To_______________.

Attach a copy of Your CNIC.
Attach a sold proof for changing the test center.
Note: It is not mandatory for PPSC to consider your application. It is not a privilege to the candidate but is a favor in case the commission is satisfied with the proof or reason provided.
